Wastewater Treatment Facility Receives Award for Excellence
Greenwood Metropolitan District is pleased to announce that the District received a Facilities Excellence Award at the S.C. Environmental Conference sponsored by the Water Environment Association of South Carolina and the American Water Works Association’s South Carolina Section. On March 15, 2011 the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control presented their facilities Excellence Awards for the West Alexander Wastewater Treatment Plant.
These awards are given to facilities who demonstrate excellence in facility operation, maintenance and management and the protection of the environment while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
